Baba Siddique’s Son Zeeshan: Discover His Net Worth and Assets Ahead of the 2024 Maharashtra Elections

Zeeshan Siddique to Contest Maharashtra Elections 2024 from Bandra East, Continuing His Father’s Legacy

In a significant political move, Zeeshan Siddique, the son of the late Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique, has been officially nominated to contest the upcoming Maharashtra elections in 2024 from the Bandra East constituency. This announcement comes in the wake of Siddique’s personal tragedy, as he joined the NCP following the tragic assassination of his father by gangsters. Zeeshan will be facing off against Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Varun Sardesai, who is notably related to Aaditya Thackeray.

Zeeshan’s journey in politics has been anything but ordinary. Previously an MLA with the Congress party, he faced expulsion but has since found a new home in the NCP, where he aims to honor his father’s legacy. Baba Siddique was known for his relentless fight for the underprivileged and his unwavering commitment to hard work. In a heartfelt statement after his nomination, Zeeshan expressed, "My father Baba Siddique ji always fought for the poor and weaker sections of society. It was his dream to see me win these elections, and now it is my duty to fulfill his dream and serve the people of Bandra East."

As he steps into this new role, Zeeshan brings with him a wealth of experience and a strong connection to the community. In the 2019 elections, he secured his position as an MLA by defeating Shiv Sena’s Vishwanath Mahadeshwar, the then mayor of Mumbai, with a margin of 5,790 votes. His previous victory, where he garnered 38,337 votes, showcases his popularity and the trust the people of Bandra East have in him.

But what about Zeeshan’s financial standing? According to a 2019 affidavit available on the MyNeta portal, his net worth was approximately ₹9 crore. This included movable assets like bank deposits and shares valued at around ₹1.74 crore, alongside immovable assets, primarily residential properties, worth about ₹7.24 crore. However, he also had liabilities amounting to ₹76 lakh. It’s worth noting that these figures may have changed since then, but they provide a glimpse into his financial background.

Following the announcement of his candidacy, Zeeshan expressed gratitude to the NCP leadership for their support during challenging times. He specifically thanked Ajit Pawar for entrusting him with this significant responsibility, stating, "Humbled by this opportunity, I will seek people’s mandate and work tirelessly to advance the cause my father dedicated his life to, serving the people of Bandra East and beyond."

As the election season heats up, all eyes will be on Bandra East, where Zeeshan Siddique aims to carve out his own path while honoring the legacy of his father. With a blend of personal commitment and political ambition, he is poised to make a strong impact in the upcoming elections, rallying support from those who remember Baba Siddique’s contributions and those who believe in Zeeshan’s vision for the future.
